We are excited to invite you to start using the Outwood Academy Hindley Parent Portal, a vital tool designed to help you track and support your child’s progress in real-time.

The Parent Portal provides secure and immediate access to your child’s key academic and pastoral information, ensuring you have the knowledge required to support their success in Year 7 and beyond.

By signing in to the portal, you will be able to view:

Access to the portal is given to parents and carers with parental responsibility using the email address we have on file.

If you have not yet provided us with an email address, or if your contact details need updating, please contact the academy immediately so we can grant you access.

To sign in: 

1. Enter your email address 

2. Check your inbox for a special “magic link” 

3. Tap on the link to sign in! 

The magic links usually arrive very quickly, but can take a few moments at busy times. If one does not arrive after a few minutes, please check your spam folder in the first instance.

What’s available? 

Praising Stars reports 

An online version of your child’s Praising Stars reports. 

Praise 

All of the praise comments given by teachers.

Honours 

See the badges awarded to your child. 

Attendance 

An overview of your child’s attendance. 

Consequences 

An overview of any sanctions issued.

Student timetable 

Your child’s timetable, including subject, teacher and classroom.
