Consultation of the RSHE (Secondary) Policy 2025

Dear parents/carers

The Trust is committed to providing an RSHE Secondary policy that fulfills all aspects of the Department for Education's guidance. The original draft of this policy was developed collaboratively with our leaders and teachers.

We are now reviewing the policy and inviting parents and carers to provide their feedback on both the updated policy document and its delivery.

How to Have Your Say

The draft policy is available on the school's website. If you are unable to access the internet, paper copies of the policy and the consultation feedback form will be available for collection from the school office. Please take a few minutes to complete this form with any feedback you may have.

The consultation period will open on Monday, October 13, 2025 and will close on Sunday, November 2, 2025.

What Happens Next?

Following the conclusion of the consultation, all feedback will be genuinely reviewed and considered, and amendments will be made to the policy where appropriate.

Please note that while parental views are welcome and important, they do not amount to a final decision over curriculum content. As the policy explains, parents and carers do retain the right to withdraw their child(ren) from specific RSHE lessons.
