Industrial Action Change

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am very sorry for the late notice but I have been informed at 4pm today by the NASUWT that members have agreed to pause strike action in order to seek a resolution. 

I am now in a position to open the school on THURSDAY 10th July to Y7,Y8 and Y9

This changes the plans to:

Wednesday 9th July - Year 10 from 9.45am

Thursday 10th July - Year 7, 8 and 9

Friday 11th July - ALL students

Other students will access work via Google Classroom following their normal timetable. If their teacher is not a member of a union taking part in industrial action, their lessons will be delivered live by those members of staff online. There are very few teachers in our school who are not in the NASUWT or the NEU however.
