Dear Parents and Carers
We are aware that the Food Hygiene Rating for our catering provider, Caterlink, has recently been published as a '1'. It is important to note that this assessment follows issues identified at the inspection last October that have since been fully resolved.
We want to reassure our school community that these concerns were addressed immediately. At the time, the school and Caterlink made the proactive decision to temporarily close the kitchen to carry out necessary improvements and structural works. During this period, meals were safely provided from an alternative site as students' wellbeing was our absolute priority.
Since then, we have worked closely with Caterlink and the relevant authorities to implement comprehensive, lasting improvements to our food preparation and storage areas. These structural and operational changes are now firmly embedded in our daily routines. We are confident in the high standards of hygiene currently maintained. A reinspection has been requested, and we anticipate achieving a 5-star rating.
