100 Days to Success

Wed 21 Jan 2026
Dear Parent or Guardian,

With fewer than 100 days remaining until the first GCSE examinations, we are entering a crucial period where the small, consistent actions students take each day can make a very real difference to their final outcomes.

To support students during this important time, English and Mathematics have launched a “100 Days to Success” home learning challenge. This initiative is designed to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and develop the independent revision habits that are essential for exam success.

Each day, students will be set a short, purposeful task in both subjects via Google Classroom:

  • 100 Days of Literature revisits the essential knowledge from the four English set texts.
  • 100 Days of Maths focuses on high-frequency GCSE topics that regularly appear in exams.

These tasks will be released daily and will continue until 28 April 2026. If a student misses a day, they can simply pick up where they left off, as all tasks will remain available and will still count towards their overall progress. What matters most is regular engagement and commitment over time.

We are encouraging students to engage with these challenges every day. Just a small amount of focused effort, completed consistently, can have a powerful impact. Your encouragement at home will play a vital role in helping students stay motivated, and we would love for you to ask your child about what they are learning and celebrate their efforts with them.

In school, we will be rewarding commitment, consistency, and progress through incentives and prizes. Evidence shows that students who engage regularly with home learning in exam years are far more likely to meet or exceed their expected grades. Our ambition is for every student to approach their exams feeling confident, prepared, and proud of the effort they have put in.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and partnership. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s English or Mathematics teacher.

Yours Faithfully
